Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur mainly produced in Sothern Italy, especially in the region around Naples. It is at least one hundred years old and is originally made from the zest of lemons. This yellow beauty is really sweet and not sour at all as it is made from the zest, not from the juice.
It is one of the most popular drinks in Italy. It is traditionally served chilled as an after dinner digestivo – in order to make it easier to digest and finish dinner properly with sweet drink.
